Total sulfur (nitrogen) analyzer installation conditions

Dear user:

Thank you very much for your trust in choosing an analyzer with high analytical performance and reliability. For a quick and smooth installation, please prepare according to the following requirements.

1) Installation site

  • The instrument can be installed under normal laboratory conditions, with a temperature between 15°C

  • and 35°C

  • Avoid direct sunlight, airflow and other conditions that are unfavorable to precision instruments

  • The laboratory table should be stable and the surface should be heat-resistant

  • Instrument and computer dimensions: 1.50m long, 0.80m wide

  • If there are other injection modules, please increase the length of the laboratory table accordingly. The minimum size of the injection module is: 0.5m long, 0.3m wide

  • Instrument weight: about 70 kg

  • If you need to install a printer, please increase the length of the laboratory table accordingly

2) Gas supply

Argon (purity: more than 99.995%)

Oxygen (purity: more than 99.995%)

3) Pressure reducing valve:

  • One helium and one oxygen pressure reducing valve

Using pressure: about 0.2MP, the full scale of the low pressure gauge is preferably 0.4~1 MPa,), inferior pressure reducing valves will affect the analysis results. According to experience, it is best not to use the pressure reducing gauge provided by the gas company.

  • The gas pipe provided by the instrument is a 3mm copper pipe with a length of 5 meters, so the distance between the gas cylinder and the instrument should not exceed 5 meters. If a gas pipeline is used, the user should be responsible for leading the gas source to the installation location of the instrument. The stop valve and pressure reducing valve should be installed at the outlet. The full scale of the gauge head should preferably be 0.4~1 MPa;

  • Pressure reducing gauge interface: 3mm stainless steel ferrule or 3mm copper ferrule.

4) Computer

The computer is the central control system of the analyzer. A computer should be specially configured for the instrument's operating procedures and data processing computer. It should not be shared with other instruments, otherwise it may fail due to unstable software operation.

The computer should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • The operating system should be Windows 7 and above Ultimate version

  • The hard disk should have at least 10GB of space

  • It should have the highest user level and can read and write to the disk

  • It should have at least one free network port for connecting the instrument. If you need to connect to LIMS, you should have at least two free network ports or a network hub

5) Power supply

  • Current: 16 and 10A. Please confirm whether the laboratory table is equipped with a 16A socket for instrument power supply

  • Voltage: 230V AC ± 10% 50/60 Hz

  • Socket: There should be enough sockets to power instruments and computers, one of which must be 16A for instrument power supply and the others must be 10A

  • The power supply should be safely grounded

6) Standard samples

Standard samples are used for instrument calibration. Please prepare corresponding standard samples according to the measurement sample range

  • Liquid: 1 mg/L, 5 mg/L, 10 mg/L, 20 mg/L, 50 mg/L, 100 mg/L, 200 mg/L, etc.

  • Gas (liquefied gas): 5mg/m3, 50mg/m3, 100mg/m3, 200mg/m3, 500mg/m3, 1000mg/m3, etc.

Note: The gas standard cylinder should be equipped with a precision pressure reducing valve that can be accurately adjusted to 0.2MPa. When the sample gas cylinder is directly injected, the outlet should also be equipped with a precision pressure reducing valve that can be accurately adjusted to 0.2MPa; the liquefied gas sample should be taken from the bottom of the cylinder, so the bottom outlet of the liquefied gas sample should be higher than the inlet of the gas injection module)
